1. Principles in Action

AOTS keeps its official accounts under the following action principles.

  1. Compliance with applicable laws as well as the internal rules of AOTS.
  2. Respecting the rights of third parties related to copyright, trademark rights and publicity rights.
  3. Abiding by the policy on protection of personal information when dealing with any individual person's information.

2. Disclaimer

  1. Please note that AOTS does not respond to opinions or inquiries sent to any of the official accounts of AOTS through ‘comment’ or ‘reply’ mechanisms. All opinions or requests to AOTS as well as its dispatched messages should be sent through the ‘Inquiry Form’ as found on AOTS's website.
  2. Although AOTS pays utmost attention to the accuracy of any content on the official website, AOTS shall not guarantee such contents are free from error and/or artificial alteration of the contents by a third party; AOTS does not assume any responsibility for any damage incurred on any visitor to the official accounts of AOTS by any transmitted information from those accounts.
  3. Such contents that AOTS allows for contribution as ‘comments’ by visitors to the official accounts of AOTS, photography or video shall be free from infringement copyright, trademark right, patent right and other types of right of other parties under protection by relevant laws.
  4. Visitors to the official accounts of AOTS shall not claim their copyright for their postings. AOTS may use those postings on its own printing materials or website for its own publicity without consent of the visitors.
  5. AOTS may make use of ‘comments’ posted on the official accounts for the purpose of its own data processing.
  6. AOTS shall not assume any responsibility for any damage incurred on visitors to the official AOTS accounts by using or not being able to use those accounts, including those system-related troubles on running those accounts or by infection by computer viruses.
  7. Official AOTS accounts of social media are subject to altering contents of services, redesigning of the formats, suspension or termination without notification.

3. Circumstances for Content Removal

AOTS, hoping that visitors do not post any of the following contents, reserves the right to delete or modify any such contents posted. In the event of finding recurrence of the posting of inappropriate contents, AOTS may inform such misbehavior to the administrators of relevant social media.

  1. Postings breaching laws and regulations, as well as public order and standards of decency
  2. Postings of any kind that slander a specific individual or organization, that mislead visitors of goodwill to unexpected legal or social relations or that adversely affects the legitimate right of other parties
  3. Political, religious or commercial activities
  4. Postings impersonating AOTS or other third parties that contain false information
  5. Uploading of files that may do damage to any visitor regardless of willful misconduct or gross negligence
  6. Any other information or postings that AOTS regards as inappropriate for its running of official accounts regardless of its authenticity
