The Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships (AOTS), which has been delegated the secretariat (AMEICC Secretariat) by the AEM-METI Economic and Industrial Cooperation Committee (AMEICC), announces the following competition for the implementation of "Project of future business opportunities for ASEAN and Japan’s next generation for enhancing the industries during the Philippines’s ASEAN Chairmanship" (hereinafter referred to as "the Project").

Those who wish to participate in the competition are invited to apply as follows.

1. Project Name

(1)    Budget Name: AMEICC’s FY2022 Supplementary Budget
(2)    Project Name: Project of future business opportunities for ASEAN and Japan’s next generation for enhancing the industries during the Philippines’s ASEAN Chairmanship
(3)    Contract Period: From the date of contract signing until March 31, 2026
(4)    Maximum Contract Amount: 110,000 USD (including consumption tax and local consumption tax)
(5)    Details of Commissioned Work: As described in the Application Guidelines

2. Application period

From August 14 to 4:00 p.m. in Japan time, Wednesday, August 27, 2025 [must arrive by this time]

3. Declaration of willingness to participate in the competition and receipt of questions

1)    Declaration of willingness to participate in the competition

If you wish to participate in this project competition, you must express your intention to participate by sending an Application Letter by e-mail attachment by 3:00 p.m. in Japan time, Wednesday, August 20, 2025 [must arrive by this date and time].

2)    Q&A

(1)    Question deadline: 3:00 p.m. in Japan time, Wednesday, August 20, 2025
(2)    How to Receive Questions: By e-mail only
(3)    How to Answer Questions: All questions received will be disclosed by e-mail to all those who have expressed their willingness to participate in this proposal competition by 4:00 p.m. in Japan time, Monday, August 25, 2025.

4. Grounds for Disqualification

A proposal will be disqualified if the submitted proposal document falls under any of the following categories or if any other fraudulent acts are found:

(1)    The willingness to participate was not declared in advance.
(2)    The applicant does not meet the eligibility requirements.
(3)    The same applicant submits more than one proposal.
(4)    The required documents were not completed by the submission deadline.
(5)    The proposal does not meet the requirements specified in the application guidelines, such as missing mandatory information.
(6)    False or fraudulent information is included in the application documents.
(7)    The estimated cost of the proposed commissioned work exceeds the maximum contract amount.
