Q: I am a current local employee of an overseas representative office of a Japanese company. I would like to attend training in Japan. What do I need to do to apply for the Technical Training or Management Training?

A: First, it is necessary that the local representative office at which you work and the parent company in Japan have the necessity and plan to conduct training by inviting local employees to Japan. The parent company in Japan needs to apply to the AOTS.

Q: I would like to participate in the AOTS’s General Orientation Course to learn the Japanese language, culture and society of Japan, and industries and corporate culture of Japan. What do I need to do to apply?

A: The AOTS’s General Orientation Course is an introductory course to attend before learning specific technology and various management techniques at Japanese companies. It is not possible to attend only the General Orientation Course.

Q: I would like to work in Japan. Is it possible to participate in the AOTS’s training?

A: The AOTS’s training is not designed for work purposes and the purpose of the training is to learn technology in Japan to utilize it in the home country. Therefore, you cannot participate in the training for work purposes.
